ESP32 CAN RS-485 Wire Interface Shield (Compatible only with ESP32 DevKitC)

Description This is an interface shield for the genuine ESP32 development board ESP32-devkitc, and PICO board, or similar and cheap form factor ESP32-goo. Please notice it DOES NOT compatible by size with any other strange clone boards, only genuine ESP32-DEVKITC. Board Features: The interface or connectivity includes: CAN interface RS-485 interface One channel high-load driver up to 36V/5A, VBAT in, OUTA/B out (customizable for two channels) The shield also provide up to 18V/2A power supply 5V to main ESP32 board. Lead out all the extras pins on the side. Pin Definitions: The CAN interface TXD/RXD -> IO23 / IO22 The RS-485 interface default TXD/RXD -> IO17/IO16 (UART1) Tested with espsoftwareserial arduino library. Demo code in repository Can be connected to hardware serial by the jumper selection. High load driver 1 control by IO19, and status by IO18. One extra programmerable LED indicator – IO5 One extra power supply voltage read – IO33 Stock Notes: due to chip stock problem, high-side-driver chip could be vary from time to time, but mainly parameters will always over 36V 5A.
