This module works perfectly when hooked up to a Pl2303HX USB to COM/UART/TTL adaptor at 5 volts power and 3.3 volt transmit data to a Raspberry Pi. Plug in the USB adaptor and use dmesg | grep tty to see which port is in use. A satellite lock may require up to 5 to 10 minutes when the device is initially placed in a window and much less if it has a better view of the sky.
